Who we are
After being run over by a minivan, in 2009, Robert suffered an Acquired Brain Injury, and was told that it was severe. Having never heard that term before, he thought rare. He was told yes, it's more severe than many, but it's by no means rare. The injury is known by other names, and "Concussion" is the most recognizeable.
In 2010 he initiated the Awareness Walk, to raise funds for charity, but more to help the world understand it, and in 2017 he launched Never Stop - Foundation for Brain Injury Awareness,

Karen has learned a great deal about brain injuries from Rob, and she would like to help others understand the often-hidden effects of both repeated minor trauma and major life-altering injuries, putting a focus on education as the first step in brain injury prevention and helping people understand those who are living with these injuries. When not working with her team to make the government more efficient through business process and systems reengineering, or outside playing with her family, Karen can be found photographing important milestones in peoples’ lives.
